If you've linked to this page in the past, please go ahead and link to the new journal page, since this page will eventually disappear. It's just here to make sure that everyone gets to the right place.

Here is the explanation I posted on my new journal page:

I'm sorry – my website has been a bit of a mess for the last few days. Several months ago, when I redesigned the website, part of the design was a logo for the top of each page. But it took me a long time to find the right drawing for the logo, and then when I finally decided on the one I wanted, we had to actually find it – Kendrick had drawn it long ago, and it was somewhere on his computer. Then, I needed his help with some of the coding, and of course he's been at the laboratory day and night, or using his computer to write chapters. But this weekend we finally worked on the website, and I do think it looks much better, although it took some trial and error to get right.

The most important change, for anyone who reads this journal, is that my journal is no longer embedded in a page on my website. Instead, the Journal button takes you directly to my Blogger page. You can easily get back to the website – I've added links specifically for that, to the right of the journal entries. This change will allow me to add links to my journal entries, which wasn't possible with the old format. It will also eliminate that inconvenient second scroll bar.

I do apologize for any confusion or inconvenience, and I hope this format will be as easy to use as the old!
